I must apologise to you all who have been following the house updates.

Just after the last update in May we helped to run a children's camp with the local charity we are involoved in, Hannah. We then left to go to the UK for a month to see family and friends and to give talks etc. about our work.

While we were in the UK we heard that there had been storms in our area and a lot of flooding had taken place. On our return we found that a camp that should have taken place while we were in the UK was cancelled because of the floods and was to be run very soon after we returned. We said we would help and that was another week we were not at home. Also the main computer was not set up due to the office/study not being finished!!.

The photo where the leak was in the small bathroom. Here I have fixed the leak, which was under the wall, and I am ready to re-concrete and re-tile.

We had to use the nearest tiles we could find as the ones on the wall could not be found. No wonder as the house was built in the mid 80's.

The new tiles and sink.

The leak meant that I could run an extra hot pipe behind the tiles to where the new sink was going. I would have had to run a pipe externally otherwise.

There was already a cold pipe that was used for a washing machine but we have put our washing machine in the kitchen.

There are some blinds to go up in here, and this room will then be finished. The other bathroom has it's blinds and is a finished room.

I have been trying to get pictures of various rooms that have been worked on but because I have been so busy I have not got round to it. I will upload this now and work on another update file soon showing the rooms downstairs with paint and carpets. Also, because we are now living in the house Sue can see the progress I have made daily so I am forgetting to take pictures. I was taking pictures of my work every evening so Sue could keep up with the progress of the house.

I have just started with the conservatory and have decided to make a page just for that job and show it's progress. There will be a link in the menu with the other update links.

Keep coming back for more updates.
